Korean War: North Korean KPA MMG team napoleonic-wars Introduced in the Western DesertThe KPA used the Maxim Model 1910 as its medium machine gun throughout the war. It could be tripod mounted, sledge mounted, or be mounted on the two wheeled Sokolov. It was often given a shield to help preserve the crew. The Maxim had a standard rate of fire of approximately 125 rounds a minute. In Korea, this could assist the KPA as long as they understood the proper use of machine guns during mobile warfare.
