Alhambra, Kew Gardens Frame:none Ignatius SanchoThis watercolour drawing illustrates the Alhambra at Kew Gardens, designed by William Chambers to echo the palace built by the Arab rulers of Spain in Grenada during the 13th century. Chambers also took inspiration from a number of other sources, including a Turkish mosque, a ruined arch, and several temples. This print is colour matched to the original and approved by Sir John Soane's Museum. Every purchase supports the work of the Museum.
