As I walked Feothanach Beach with my dogs I was greatly inspired by the brightly coloured seaweed floating in the rock pools

These lovely puzzles feature whimsical pieces in unusual shapes using themes such as nature and animals

now however Supavalu has unfortunately left us with a very poor replacement

it always looks very perilous for them but they don’t seem to mind and don’t fall off even though it looks like they shouldn’t be able to stand on the steep hillsides

It is famous for its music and always full of locals and tourists alike

This was a commission of Glantinassig Lake which sits up above Tralee Bay, it is surrounded by forestry and is nestled among the hills that are the backdrop to the whole peninsula. There are walks through the woods and on a still day the reflections in the lake are magnificent.
