Melville Terraces Pinot Noir 2022 COASTAL REGION Winemaking: Making a white wine96 points Vinous Media Drinking window: 2025 2032 The 2022 Pinot Noir Estate Terraces is a blend of three parcels that are mostly west facing. It offers generous dark fruit and the natural breadth conferred by clay rich soils. Of note, this is the only Melville Pinot with Swan clone. Black cherry fruit, lavender, licorice, plum and gravel infuse the palate with notable depth. The 60% stems are pretty much buried by the sheer intensity of the fruit.
