The SaintJacques in the Natura Naturante collection takes a form derived from the ribbed fan of the scallop shell and transforms it through the ceramic process into a vessel that combines the organic with the architectural. The form was born from redesigning, cutting and reassembling the original moulds of a historic three generation ceramics workshop in Tuscany a
