Balgownie Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 Back Vintage orange peelFirm and finely balanced, this deeply flavoured but elegant wine is set for the long term. Underpinned by suggestions of minerals and graphite, its deep, dark bouquet of blackberries, cassis, dark plums and cedary oak reveals nuances of chocolate and iodide. It's long and smooth, with a firm, drying spine of powdery tannins supporting concentrated dark fruit flavours and tight knit oak. A typical long term classic from this great vineyard. Jeremy
