Varying colours are applied to the front and sides, leaving the rear unglazed so the natural quality of the clay can be appreciated. I have imprinted them with little butterflies to add texture and interest :) The paints used are all second hand and I fire the clay only when there is spare space in a colleagues kiln (thanks to the
