Primary fruit notes lie in the background, while the acidity and tannins are much more prominent. Ideally, readers should give the 2013 at least a year in bottle to fully come together. This is an impressive showing. The 50% new oak is nicely balanced, even at this early stage in the wine's life. (AG)
