As I walked Feothanach Beach with my dogs I was greatly inspired by the brightly coloured seaweed floating in the rock pools

Often the sea here is wild and white but on this day it was all wonderfully blue. Inis Tuaisceart is the northernmost of the Blasket Islands and was nicknamed the Sleeping Giant as it does look remarkably like one!
