Its modelled in golden pinchbeck and fitted with a secret locket on the reverse with a lock of brown hair preserved behind a glass window. It was likely kept in remembrance of a deceased loved one so that a piece of them was always kept close to the wearers heart. Its a superb antique treasure and was
