Eggbutts are suitable for horses with sensitive corners on their mouths, as they prevent them from being pinched which can happen with loose ring snaffles. The characteristic features of these bits are the oval rings (resp. the D Ring side parts) which are fixed to the mouthpiece, keeping the bit steady in the mouth, enabling direct and effective impact onto the tongue. The
