Antique Edwardian Suffragette Chain 15ct Gold Amethyst Peridot Pearl Georgian (1714-1830) FACE MEASURES: Height 8mm xA colourful antique Suffragette chain from the early 1900s made up of 15ct yellow gold cable links interspersed with violet amethyst, green peridot and white pearl beads that look fabulous draped around the neck. Jewellery displaying the colours green, violet and white were often worn in support of the Womens Social and Political Union (WSPU) which was at the forefront of the UK suffrage movement in the early 1900s. They adopted these three colours to
