2006 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir almost sweet strawberry and redSweet aromas of ripe cherries, black currants, plums, smoky barbecue, licorice and forest floor jump from the glass of this broad, savory, full bodied, young, vibrant Pinot Noir. At age eight, it is just beginning to develop secondary nuances. It should continue to evolve for another decade, offering sumptuous drinking for at least 10 15 more years.
