holes & fraying on the cuff fold from rubbing on the shoes - 2 small holes on the rear left about 6" down from the waist & another on the back right thigh (see close ups with pins) - on close examination a few other pinholes which the camera couldn't see - a subtle patch of faint discolouration/yellowing at the crotch -  minor discolouration & some marks to the linings & pocket bags

with light wear overall - there is a tiny

particularly in groups to the right shoulder

Trousers are slim cut & quite straight in the leg

Vintage 1940s Black Felt Hat Heart Shaped Broad Brim Halo Beret 1940s Skirt holes & fraying on theA striking vintage c. 1940s black felt hat somewhat in the halo beret genre, with broad heart shaped brim. The hat is handmade from a single piece of felt, cunningly shaped, folded, stitched & creased, is trimmed with bands & a false bow of folded grosgrain ribbon, & has a petersham inner headband; it is intended to sit toward the back of the head.
