Putting the lid on the bowl before it goes in the fridge will extend the shelf life of food and prevent other foods in the fridge from tainting leftovers. The lid can go in the freezer, and it is dishwasher safe at max 131F as required. The lid is also completely free of phthalates and bisphenol A (BPA).
