She teaches pottery here in Saskatoon and creates work in her backyard studio. Janice is also passionate about fermenting as well, and she makes fermenting crocks and weights. She has partnered with her sister in law to create courses and workshops on fermenting called Umami (Ooom am ee) Prairie Ferments.
