Some nasty players put dredge to work to prove just how lost you can get in the swamp that belongs to The Gitrog

Looking at the deck lists for either deck, its easy to see a lot of room for improvement

Later in the game, Stax grows weaker as opponents draw removal and can leave you defenseless

The weakness of a deck reliant on its commander is simple: It needs the commander in play, or it wont win

Also note that Gandalf will double your triggers for your legendary or artifact stuff entering or leaving the battlefield, like Solemn Simulacrum, Spine of Ish Sah, Ichor Wellspring or Astor, Bearer of Blades or even classics like Godo, Bandit Warlord

Given this terrible value, I cant really recommend you go classic unless youre a true high roller
