The other possibility is playing Invasion of Regatha in a dedicated burn deck since the backside seems pretty powerful with Play with Fire, Lightning Strike, and friends as a weird twist on Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, although I'm not sure a burn deck wants to use multiple burn spells or attacks to remove the five defense counters to defeat the battle
Treasure Nabber One of the unfortunate truisms of today is that mana in Commander has changed
I would probably rather have a 1/3/1 on my 1-drop
For 3 mana, youre almost guaranteed three draws as the turn passes around the pod and your opponents decline to pay the 1. Theres a higher chance than Mystic Remora that your opponents will have the mana available to pay the tax, but players like to use all their available mana every turn, even if it means youll draw cards off of their spells
So you have a weird situation where you already have an established board (past turn-four) and you try to push further with this, or you somehow try to bank on its haste effect using freshly-transformed permanents
