It still feels like the card draw is too tight
To determine a spell's total cost, start with the mana cost (or an alternative cost if another card's effect allows you to pay one instead), add any cost increases (such as kicker), then apply any cost reductions
Booting up the game for the first time and seeing the "NEW GAME" and "Continue?" options in the black void with JUST the Buster Sword stabbed into the ground is beyond iconic
As a final note, I dont know anything about the Final Fantasy games myself, and I wont evaluate these cards based on how well they adapt characters, so I wont comment on the flavor at all
