It isnt ground-breaking by any means, but its a solid game piece for a Golgari deck running dredge or other self-mill tactics
That flexibility brings me a lot of joy, and I just trust that the rest will follow
Modal spells in general are excellent in Commander because you never know which decks youll be playing with and what situation youll be in when you draw your spell, so having options is very cool
The Ruinous Powers deck (red/blue/black): Abaddon the Despoiler and Be'lakor, the Dark Master Forces of the Imperium (white/blue/black): Inquisitor Greyfax and Marneus Calgar, Ultramarines Chapter Master The Tyranid Swarm (green/blue/red): The Swarmlord and Magus Lucca Kane Necron Dynasties (black): Szarekh, the Silent King, and Imotekhk, the Stormlord You can get hold of the 100-card commander decks when they release on October 7, and there will also be three crossover Secret Lair releases featuring yet more Magic cards from Games Workshop's settings between October 17 and November 14
If you could figure out a way to quickly reattach the cards you have to discard with this move to Dialga, this card would be much better and make an awesome deck
The combination of card advantage and pressure provides lots of impact for one card and Fact or Fiction effects always create interesting subgames for you and your opponent
