They arent always bulky warriors swinging giant swords (though of course, there are a few of those too)
A six mana 5/5 is nothing to write home about, but Slurks ability to buff your entire board when one of your creatures dies in a +1/+1 counter-centric strategy certainly is, giving you some very solid insurance against removal and tricky combat steps
