The art frame of a Pendulum Monster is increased in size, to the same width as the effect boxes, and the effect boxes themselves are partially transparent, allowing the art to be seen beneath them (although since the transparency is applied as a vertical gradient, it is usually noticeable only in the Pendulum Effect box and the very top of the monster one)
Opening these sets gives you a chance at the Giratina V alternate art, which remains a holy grail for many collectors
