A lot of the new cards in this deck bring plenty of support for the monarch theme: Denethor, Stone Seer, Archivist of Gondor, omer, King of Rohan, Champions of Minas Tirith, Forth Eorlingas!, Crown of Gondor, Fealty to the Realm, and Oath of Eorl all bring some much needed support for the archetype, and in varied and interesting ways

Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Combat Celebrant are two more extra combats that are solid (Moraug really wants fetchlands though) Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, Teferi's Protection, and Deflecting Swat make your board that much more difficult to answer Enlightened Tutor finds your Cathars' Crusade or other stuff and lets you cut the weaker versions from the deck Smothering Tithe and Land Tax are great mana engines, while Jeweled Lotus and Dockside Extortionist are good burst mana Jeska's Will is great mana and card advantage Archaeomancer's Map and Smuggler's Share are good incremental value
