It does seem as if The Pokemon Company go all out in terms of the artwork for these cards, which are always beautiful
Despite being a five-color deck, the balance heavily favors green, with 20 of the 60 spell cards being green
Couple this with the fact that Exodia tends to be much slower than other combo decks, and it's no surprise it's often considered a risk to attempt the strategy
Borderless cards are slightly different, and, indeed, rather finicky
Ponders go from 0 / 60 to 4 / 60, or 0% to 6.7% Makeshift Mannequins go from 3 / 60 to 2 / 60, or 5% to 3.3% Mulldrifters go from 4 / 60 to 3 / 60, or 6.7% to 5% Snow-Covered Islands go from 6 / 60 to 4 / 60, or 10% to 6.7% According to the Alan Comer Rule of cantrips (you can cut a land for every two cheap cantrips you add), its okay to cut the two Islands because Im adding four cantrips, but Im cutting the number of Makeshift Mannequins in the deck by a full third , and Ponder is by no means going to draw me into a third more of them to compensate
"Magic Deflector" and "Spell Canceller" negate most Spell Effects all together
