While a player wants to destroy/exile an opponent's Planeswalker and spends resources to do so and their opponent dedicates resources to protecting it, the roles are reversed with Battles, as its controller wants to dedicate resources with attack and damage their permanent, while the opponent must prevent its counters from being reduced to zero in order not to deal with a greater threat
Most of the time this is just going to be a Darksteel Ingot without the indestructability, making it worse in most of those decks
If you do, add this card's effects to that spell.) If, during a player's declare attackers step, a creature that player controls that's been goaded is tapped, is affected by a spell or ability that says it can't attack, or hasn't been under that player's control continuously since the turn began (and doesn't have haste), then it doesn't attack
Also, kudos for WotC on the design of these cards, because most of the spells are conditional spells
this can be Level 1, 2 or 3 and, as youd expect, youll want to start with a Level 1 battle deck
