I like it being given a +1/+1 counter from the Biophagus above since that's 3 more damage you'll deal and more likely to get combat damage past blockers with the trample it has
Suddenly, all that discard, land destruction, and card drawing they've used has backfired, as they find themselves at a low life due to Necropotence, with two (or less) lands in play, no creatures, and no cards in hand
One of Paupers weaknesses is the lack of mass removal because most of those cards tend to be printed at higher rarities
At its base level it can be a land when you need it, but when youre hurting for spells, it could just refill your entire hand in the right deck
Starter decks are meant to be upgraded of course, but this deck doesn't give a good sense of what the Madrigal characters can do together
