I personally love the idea of structuring their rules like planeswalkers enough so that if you understood that card type it would be easier to learn how these played too in blocking, attacking, and in how they could lose counters

Its also quite the powerhouse card, as any mon with a strong attack that only requires one energy to use is going to be a tremendous threat
