Shadows over Innistrad was a pretty big miss for me as compared to original Innistrad , though this has been the general trend when it comes to revisiting planes
Because it checks almost every box we could wish for in a removal for our Commander deck: Targets almost any permanent Instant speed Weak drawback Theres no reason not to play this, except maybe its price point which is already creeping around the $2 cost for an Uncommon Standard card
The artwork is beautiful, but the card's features are what really increases its value
While there are some answers to this deck in the metagame like Scavenging Ooze, there isn't a ton being played right now
Dragons often have the 'flying' keyword, which means they can only be blocked by other creatures with flying or reach
Despite making just a Mono-Blue Spellslinger deck with Talrand as the leader, he is still leading 4,263 decks with that color issue, and he's in a massive 74,049 in the 99 for beloved Izzet and Jeskai Spellslinger (#9 at 50008 decks)
