Even when they dont have one in-hand, its better than Duress, taking Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger or whatever other big threat they may be ramping toward (not to mention any other copies in their deck if you have delirium, which you often will)

I guess it makes flavor sense that your wincon is as slow as an Island rising out of the sea and revealing itself to be a giant monster, but this just doesnt have the tools yet to really work
