With plenty of solid low-cost characters and a number of cards that make it easy to keep flooding the board with them, Amber/Amethyst is all about overwhelming opponents with volume

You rarely recover from many of these destruction moves, as only one card, the aforementioned Song of Inspiration, allows you to bring creatures back from the graveyard

Both of these cards turned heads during previews, so its not hugely surprising to see them performing well already
