Through use of a unique game feature called "Memory Link", the player can access new content and side quests dependent on the original Black and White games, such as references to the player's name in the previous game, flashback sequences, the ability to capture Pokmon that once belonged to N, battling Cheren and Bianca who reminisce about the protagonist of the previous game, and participating in the Pokmon World Tournament
This gives Moat the best evasion of all permanent-based creature defense/protection strategies, as it is relatively hard to remove once it comes into play
And if you really need this effect for your deck to function, you could run Miguel as your commander
Its not a particularly new card, originating in the Sword & Shield era of the game a few years ago, but its an effective Supporter to have on hand in tricky line-ups
