The very first booster pack in Yu-Gi-Oh was named after this card, and so actually owning a copy back in the day was awesome
It looks fantastic with cards like Balmor, Battlemage Captain and Narset, Enlightened Exile that use spellslinging to facilitate combat shenanigans
Decks became increasingly homogeneous, each splashing the same set of dominant cards, diluting strategic identity
I think I'll need to build a Standard deck that runs this and Underfoot Underdogs to see if I can pull off the combo just once
If the card doesnt have text similar to the above, you dont get an additional main phase
Unfortunately, this deck might not have the speed or power required to be a top contender in the current standard format, given that it requires multiple turns to fully set up a Phanpy or Spiritomb but Donphan still has potential, nonetheless
