There is a silver button on the heel of the staghorn which is stamped "Swaine & Adeney Ltd. London". There is a crown shaped "gatepusher" in the top of the handle. It has a silver collar with ribbed edges, this is stamped "Swaine" and hallmarked London 1928. The collar is engraved "Mary Gatehouse from F. H. 1929" .
