Thanks to a slight residual sweetness this is a wine that can match up to dark chocolate almost as happily as it will to sticky burnt ends or duck in plum sauce

Blackcurrant and tobacco leaf give this wine a potent combo that reminds us of both Rioja and Bordeaux and like the wines of both places this wine is satisfying and very quaffable
