Victorian Sidesaddle Whip with Amethyst - w1587 june26 The tin is in goodThis very fine whip is in very good condition for its age. It has a gold coloured cap and collar with foliate and floral decoration. There is a purple cut amethyst set into the top of the cap. The rim of the collar is engraved "Simpson & compy, London". The collar also has a monogram engraved in a cartouche. The cap also has a ring with a tasselled silk wrist cord. Between the cap and collar, the grip is covered in finely braided cream coloured baleen
