These spurs have medium length necks with bulbous downward turning ends and no rowels

One spur is stamped "Maxwell" on the underside of its neck

Below there there are semicircular panels decorated with the Brazilian emblem of a star surrounded by tobacco & coffee leaves and a banner which reads "Estados Unidos Do Brazil, 15 de Novembre de 1889". This wording changed in 1964. They are stamped on their upper arches "Metbranco garantido", "144" and with Eberle's trademark
