An Edwardian Officer's Bridle - Bit1033 box-spurs Sowter & Co used thisThis bridle is made of tan leather. The browband wraps around the headpiece with a brass stud on each end. The headstall has keepers which hold the T bars of a watering bit. There is a separate headpiece which holds the curb bit. There is a white neck rope which attaches to the headstall with a tan leather strap The buckles are gilt and have cast foliate decoration. The buckles on the curb headpiece and the neck rope are not the same as the rest. The
