This area is unlike any other in Illinois with 18 canyons and many waterfalls

With the colors of this July sunrise appearing as the sun touches the horizon

it sure was a coyote

I came upon a pedestrian bridge that I wanted to photograph

I continued on along the path with the sun beginning to peak through the fog above

WHISPERS OF THE WINTER CREEK Size:30x45 FINE ART PAPER This area is unlike anyAfter receiving 2 3 inches of snow during the morning hours, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this Sunday afternoon. The temperature was in the mid 20's with a mild wind of 5 8 mph. It was mostly overcast with some sun breaks. The soft lighting during this time made for some nice images of the box elder trees and their reflections onto Eakin Creek West. (685 3442)
