W&J Milne Edinburgh Escritoire lava Black and white illustrations areFantastic early 1900's portable writing box or travel desk made by W&J Milne, known "box makers" in business from 1844 1905. They were know for their leather work, often using exotic woods and ivory implements. This box is rather plain wood and is missing the key but still has charm with leather covered slots and organizers inside.
