Parentesi double hanging lamp by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu for Flos prints 1 colour silkscreen printDesigned in 1971 by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu, the Parentesi got its name from the literal Italian translation, meaning "brackets" or "parenthesis". The nickel plated arms slide freely up and down the steel cable and the elastomer heads can pivot to help direct light. The heavy weight at the bottom holds the tension of the entire piece and floats over the floor. Rarely seen in a two headed format. Made in Italy, 1980's. New old stock.
