Diamond Calcite on Limonite Selenite These pieces of cuboidal fluoriteSo called diamond Calcite is named for its diamond like shape and exceptional sparkle. These beautifully shaped formations come from the Leiping mine in Southeastern China, known for many specimen quality minerals and gems. Each piece consists of multiple clusters of diamond calcite with high shine on a matrix of Limonite, an iron ore mineral which provides an impressive contrast against the clear crystals.
