I have my doubt about this one - it looks very like some 19th century spurs from Spain & Portugal

The inside of one cheek is stamped "Germano Berg & Co

19th Century Mexican Spur - Spur460 jan25 I have my doubt aboutThis spur is made of iron, it has a good dark aged patina and its surface is stable. It dates from the 19th Century. It has a large six pointed rowel which still turns. Part of the neck is crescent shaped . One side has the remains of engraved decoration. The heel bands are wide, One side has deep cast diagonal lines these probably once held silver inlay. The other is quite plain. Each arm ends in a rectangular slot. There is a swinging button on each
