Artist statement: The Submerged Series is underwater floral photography. I pose my flowers in an aquarium and inject paint and ink in the water to swirl around the flowers. As the paint drifts down, when it looks interesting, then I begin to shoot. There is usually a one to two minute window before the water gets too murky.
