Its aesthetically inspired by Ang Lees 2012 film The Life of Pi (a film thats a little clumsy in places but one I love so much it sometimes hurts), and its title comes from the closing line of Mimi Jennings poem Madonna on her countless portraits,first published in The Christian Century; a poem I reread at least once a month.
