Antique Beagling Whip with Whistle - w1773 bridle published by FThis whip has an antler or staghorn handle with a whistle, this works well. It has a braided thread collar. There is also a silver collar which is engraved "Surg,Gen. A Smith C. B." and "Ambrook" The short shaft or stock is made of golden brown malacca cane with its characteristic teardrop shaped cross section The whip has a its original small open rawhide keeper at its end and an intricately braided rawhide thong which has lost its end.
