There is a silver button on the heel of the handle, this is quite dented but it is stamped "Schomberg, London"It has a silver collar which is hallmarked London 1910 and has the silversmith's stamp "J. S & S". This stands for James Schomberg & Sons who were whip makers based in Long Acre, Covent Garden. There are a few dents in the collarThe long stock or shaft is covered in thread or possibly
