It is also stamped "GU" (George Unite). There is a small dent in the top of the cap and it is engraved "C. B. C." The dark mahogany coloured case has a good patina. The girth strap has been extended the stitching is very fine, so this was probably done in the late 19th early 20th century. It is attached so that the flask will sit on the near side of the
