When the Larvae are about to pupate the Queen must be provided with a suitable scaffolding sand moss mix so that the Larvae can spin their Pupae as failure to spin will mean that the queen will have to start all over again and this does take a fair amount of time as she has to go into a new laying cycle

but remember to allow for expansion when choosing your size
