As the Horseshoe Crabs grow, they shed their exoskeletons, the molts wash up all over the beaches of the world. I was gifted the original molt by a dear friend from New Jersey, where Horseshoe Crabs are known to breed. After casting, I create the tail using sterling silver wire, carefully shaping and forming it so that
