Watcher of the Spheres is a flying 2/2 for one White and one Blue mana that not only gets bigger for the turn whenever a flying creature enters the battlefield under your control, but also makes your creatures with flying cost one less mana to cast

As with Pact of Negation you can also play Misstep off colour however the latter will be of greater use throughout the game and far more likely as a result to find itself in a non blue deck

He's also a 3/5, which isn't the most impressive attacker but does an okay job blocking for your walkers

Preordain Preordain is among the best cantrips in the game

It doesn't prevent spells from being cast or abilities from being activated or triggering later in the turn, and it has no effect on static abilities
